Happy Easter!

I hope you all have a great Easter day celebrating Jesus Rising from the grave! I am so thankful to have a relationship with an great God. Remember Jesus died on the cross for all of us and took away our sins. He LOVES us so much.

And he said to them, "Do not be amazed; you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen; He is not here; behold, here is the place where they laid Him.  Mark 16:6

I wanted to share this clip with everyone. It does not have to do with Easter, but it made me tear up.

Happy Easter!!!

Inside my Closet

Here is a look inside my closet. When I lived my parents house I did not have a walk in closet and now I have a closet that I can actually stand in and see all my clothes, shoes, hats and scarfs.

My hats and two of my purses. This door leads to our bedroom...

Some of my longer necklaces, headband and my cowgirl hat.

My belts...

I have decided to put all my shoes in clear shoe boxes. I need a couple more before all my shoes are in boxes.

I love the hangers have now. My husband showed me them and I went out to Costco and bought some for me. You can get 50 for $14.00 and they are much better then plastic white ones.

I decided to put my frame note reminder board in my closet because I go in there everyday and it will remind me of the things I need to do that week or what things my husband will be doing.

The lower part of my closet.

I love this little dresser on wheels. I got it at Costco for $10 or $12 and it has worked well for my white tank tops and some of my purses.

My scarfs. This door lead to our bathroom...

The two drawers I have below my clothes have some of my purses in them.

I am sad that I will have to leave this walk in closet for probably not a walk in closet. But, hopefully one day I will have a dream closet....

A girl can dream....

Coach, Lucky Brand, Kate Spade Please

I absolutely LOVE purses! My family knows that I am big fan of Coach and Lucky Brand Purses. Here is a look at my growing purse collection.

My Clutch collection. It is growing, since I am starting to go to business dinners and weddings I have been on the look out for clutches. I have found that DSW Shoes and Target has some pretty good ones.

 Coach Collection

Most of my Coach were bought at the Coach Outlet. One one brown I did buy at full price, with graduation and Christmas money.

The Lucky Brand Collection

I believe all my Lucky Brand bags were bought at TjMaxx. Oh correction, my first Lucky Brand bag (the one that is all brown) was bought at the store. It was my first designer bag. :)

Kate Spade

This was a graduation present from my parents and it had money in it, which was used to buy a Coach bag. My mom got this purse at TjMaxx.

Liz Claiborne

My first purse and it was bought at Macy's.

The Sak Bag. Bought at TjMaxx

Love my purses (and TjMaxx)!!!

Jason Wu for Target

On Friday I stopped by Target just to look around since I had not been there at all last week. I found the last clutch by Jason Wu and it was half off! What a steal....

So, lately Target has had designers come in a design a line just for their customers and once these items hit the store everything is bought that day! It is crazy, I am surprised this clutch was still there. The cashier said she has been waiting for some to buy the last one. To tell you the truth I am not sure who Jason Wu is, so I did Google him to learn a little about him.

Girly Things

Happy Monday!

Here are some of my girly things at the moment.

I got this little guy at TPT Home in California. Right if you get me anything with a bird or flower on it I will probably love it.

My reading material at the moment! I have been waiting for a People Country to come out! And my Karen Kingsbury book came!!

I got this soft pretty thing at Costco for about $10.00. We needed another warm fuzzy blanket because right now we share a comfy green blanket, but sometime you just want to cuddle up in by yourself.

Birthday Gift Card to Francesca's

Loved these earrings.

I thought this was a great thin headband with touches of color and it comfy!

I loved this jeweled headband, I will need to plan ahead when wearing it because it starts to hurt my head after awhile. But, it super cute.

I got this candle at Target for around $2.00. I love candles and this one has a flower in it! Love it!

Loving my girly things right now. Now I am going to go finish my book!!

DIY Things

I have learned over the last couple of months that crafting/DIY Projects help me zone out and relax. I my not use what I made, but it is me time. I may not create something every day or every week, but we I sit down at my desk I could be there for a couple of hours. I have learned that I really enjoy making cards and seasonal things even if they do not turn out how I picture them in my head.

So, I made a banner earlier this month and it did not turn out like I planned. I bought this banner at Target for $3.19. I think the supplies I bought cost a total of two dollars, so purchasing some already made for $3.19 was alright with me.

I made this out material from Michael's and Target. I am planning it put it by my desk and using a dry erase marker to make notes on it.
Frame- Michael's $2.00
Scrap Book Paper- Michael's .25
Stickers- Target .99
Total: 3.24

I went into Michael's the other day and got some Scrap Book paper and stickers. They were all on sale! I stocked up to make a few birthday and Mother's Day cards.

I saw this on Facebook and just loved it! Maybe one Easter I will make them!

I hope you all have something you can do to just relax and have some me time. We all need that me time just once in awhile.

Shopping Day

While I was in California I got some mommy shopping time in which was amazing! We went to a TjMaxx/HomeGoods, TPT Home and the Irvine Spectrum.

The TjMaxx my mom and I went into had a HomeGoods attached to it as well! We love going to this store because we can get everything at one store! This TjMaxx had a Runway section which had high end designer clothes, shoes and purses! It had to be new because I had never seen it at that TjMaxx or any TjMaxx that I go to on a regular basis. I still could not afford it (especially when we are saving our money right now!), but it was fun to look at everything. I got a pair of Lucky Brand Jeans (not shown on this post) and a blue and white striped shirt.

So, if you have never heard of TPT Home it is a store that most likely will overwhelm you the first time you step in there. You have to allow yourself at least an hour and half to walk through there HUGE store. They have everything there for home decorating! My mom got a gift card to TPT Home two years ago and she just used it last weekend because she can never decide what to get there! I actually got a little bird decoration that I will show on a later post..

TPT Finds
I just loved this apple and pear!

They had these HUGE flowers. I do not know if I would ever need flowers this big, but I thought they were fun.

This is one of there set ups. They had a table full of plates, bowls, glasses, flowers, and pots.

TjMaxx Finds

This is the shirt I got. I thought it was very flattering and perfect outfit for both Oregon and California.
Necklace: Francesca's
Jeans: Lucky Brand- TjMaxx

This was my outfit for that day, I love the bright cardigan, I think this is the brightest thing I own besides some of my scarfs. Right now it seems like neon is everywhere! I think those bright colors are great for high schoolers and below, so I got this semi bright cardigan. I got this cardigan at TjMaxx of course! I also saw a pink one in California, but I already have enough pink.

I recently purchased these at Bed Bath and Beyond. These are amazing! I have used them the last two years and they work much better than a towel. I suggest you go get some with your 20% off coupon or $5 off a $15 purchase.

It was so much fin being California and spending time with our families and I cannot wait to spend more time with them.
