{HomeMADE} Chocolate Chip Cookies






1 Cup of Sugar
1 Cup of Brown Sugar
1 Cup of Shortening 
2 Eggs
2 Tsp. of Vanilla
2 1/4 Cups of Flour
1 1/2 Tsp. of Salt
1 Tsp. of Baking Soda
2 Cups of Chocolate Chips {I like to use the mini chocolate chips}

Directions:
1. Mix together Eggs, Sugar, Brown Sugar, Vanilla and Shortening
2. Then add Flour, Baking Soda, and Salt {you may need to add more flour, I always do}
3. Mix together well
4. Add in chocolate chips
5. Put in the refrigerator over nigh {MUST DO}

Next Day:
**Pre-heat oven to 350**
1. Take pieces of the dough and roll them into 1" balls
2. Roll the balls of dough in the Sugar
3. Place the balls on a cookie sheet
4. Take a drinking glass and rub some flour on the bottom of it and then press the bottom of the glass on the ball of cookie dough until flat
6. Bake for 9-10 minutes {it may take longer depending on your oven.}, the rim of the cookie should be a golden brown.
