Shopping Day

While I was in California I got some mommy shopping time in which was amazing! We went to a TjMaxx/HomeGoods, TPT Home and the Irvine Spectrum. 

The TjMaxx my mom and I went into had a HomeGoods attached to it as well! We love going to this store because we can get everything at one store! This TjMaxx had a Runway section which had high end designer clothes, shoes and purses! It had to be new because I had never seen it at that TjMaxx or any TjMaxx that I go to on a regular basis. I still could not afford it (especially when we are saving our money right now!), but it was fun to look at everything. I got a pair of Lucky Brand Jeans (not shown on this post) and a blue and white striped shirt.

So, if you have never heard of TPT Home it is a store that most likely will overwhelm you the first time you step in there. You have to allow yourself at least an hour and half to walk through there HUGE store. They have everything there for home decorating! My mom got a gift card to TPT Home two years ago and she just used it last weekend because she can never decide what to get there! I actually got a little bird decoration that I will show on a later post.. 

TPT Finds

I just loved this apple and pear! 

They had these HUGE flowers. I do not know if I would ever need flowers this big, but I thought they were fun.

This is one of there set ups. They had a table full of plates, bowls, glasses, flowers, and pots. 

TjMaxx Finds

This is the shirt I got. I thought it was very flattering and perfect outfit for both Oregon and California.

This was my outfit for that day, I love the bright cardigan, I think this is the brightest thing I own besides some of my scarfs. Right now it seems like neon is everywhere! I think those bright colors are great for high schoolers and below, so I got this semi bright cardigan. I got this cardigan at TjMaxx of course! I also saw a pink one in California, but I already have enough pink. 

I recently purchased these at Bed Bath and Beyond. These are amazing! I have used them the last two years and they work much better than a towel. I suggest you go get some with your 20% off coupon or $5 off a $15 purchase. 

It was so much fin being California and spending time with our families and I cannot wait to spend more time with them.

California

I am been really busy these last couple of weeks/days with life. Here are some pictures to sum it up....

We were down in California last week and our first stop of course was Chick-A-Fil for some yummy chicken and waffle fries!

We visited two schools, UCI and San Diego.  And we picked one! We will be heading to Irvine, California in July! We are both very excited to start this new adventure together. There will be lots of changes as he starts Law School, but we are excited to jump into this together.

I am so happy to be moving MUCH closer to my family and friends. Also, being back in my comfort zone. God has truly blessed us with all the choices of schools we were given. Even though we will be closer to our family, we know there will be many challenges and trials we will go through. But, we have our God and each other.

Loving

I am loving these right now....

I love this bedroom with the brown and white colors. I love neutral colored rooms. It makes it seem clean and neat. 

Loving this blog, I read it every morning and there is always something interesting. Check it out!

This is a kitchen that was just completed by the two people who run the blog above. I love the clean look with a pop of color.

And Shutterfly! The last couple of days I have gotten a few free things from them! I am excited to create some photo books!

Fun Things This Week

After our stop at the cupcake store we took the back roads home. It was such a nice day!

Courtney and I, we spent the day eating, baking and talking!

It snowed here in Oregon and it actually stayed for a bit!

 Graduation Gift!

  Our cousin graduated from high school early and is starting college next month! We got her a planner, flash cards, post-it notes and earrings! On each item I wrote a little helpful note. :)

 Favorite House!

 Where we live there are a few back roads you take to get to the main highway and on this particular it has my favorite house here in Oregon. If we stay here this is what I would want my future house to look like.

It has a huge front and back yard. Also, in the front yard it has a mini house that looks just like the main one for the children to play in. I am just in love with this house. I need to get a picture of the mini house.

Friday Finds

The last couple days have been great! The sun is shining and everyone is happy! I did not go out too much this week, so I decided to head out today and do a little shopping with my gift card. I found some great stuff! I only bought two things for myself, the blue cardigan and a pair of black high heels. But, in the picture below I posted a few tops I liked, but they did not work out.

These were all found at TjMaxx ranging from $10.00 to $20.00

I found these high heels at Target for $8.00! I have been waiting for these to go on sale even more! 

I also found my husband a shirt at Tjmaxx, whenever I see a nice shirt I just pick it up for him. I think all our guys need us to that once in awhile for them. My husband tends to throw out shirts and then never goes and gets more! His closet is shrinking!!! 

I hope you have a great Friday and weekend! This weekend we are celebrating our cousins accomplishment of graduating high school!! I am going to work on making her a card right now.

Here are pictures of my favorite things for the last week....

I got these fun stickers at Target for .99! I believe there are over 30 pieces to each one!

My parents sent me flowers for my birthday! They have bloomed very nicely. Love the colors!

I have come across a few recipes that say a pinch/tad/dash, so picked up a tool that will help me!

My husband got me balloons for my birthday. He actually left work early and decorate the apartment while I was out. I was very surprised when I came home. 

I started putting out my Easter decorations!! Love all the pastel colors!

I have been watching season one while I work on my projects. I have seen it three times before! It never gets old...

I got this Cake Pop book and I just love it! I see Cake Pops in the future! 

Iphone 4s! Woo Hoo! I have been waiting a long time for this! The sad thing is that a new will be coming out shortly. You can never catch up. 

My first cover. I have three more! I am still waiting for one more to ship. And guess what they all have a touch of pink. :)

My husband got me this for my birthday, so I do not have to chop anything again! 

I have been trying these out for awhile now and I have to say I like them. They make my skin feel so much better. 

These are just a few of my favorite things from the past week. It is almost the weekend, hang in there!!
